22/03/11 Evans Ride It! Sportive
Amidst bitter temperatures on Thursday and heavy rainfall on Friday, the team representing kansi did a fantastic job of educating and exciting the Evans staff about kansi. It was very satisfying to speak to numerous Evans staff that knew about kansi already, but who left the stand armed with a lot more key brand messages and important selling features, ready to take back to their respective stores.
Saturday was consumer day and after a Ride It! sportive, we got the chance to showcase the bikes to Evans customers and regular cyclists. As always, the response to the bikes was fantastic. Those who tested them were totally complimentary, many wishing to ride them again.
On Saturday we were pitched up next to the Brompton stand. Discussion about each others bikes, the comparison of the folding mechanisms and the presence of a digital stop-clock meant that challenges were inevitable.

And we have a winner!...
Sorry it’s a little later than expected, the overwhelming response took us a bit by surprise, but we have a winner of the first kansi competition! The lucky winner who entered at Cycle Show will soon be receiving a brand new kansi 9twenty worth £849rrp! The winner will also get a mykansibox which means they can customise their new bike with grip locks, end caps and decals in five additional colours.
We had over 1500 entries so a massive thank you to everyone who visited the stand to enter. We will be running further competitions in the future so please keep checking the website for the latest news.

It was great to meet you all and we were overwhelmed with the fantastic reception we received. Thanks also to those of you who already have one of our bikes – telling us about you and your bike is what we like to hear. We hope you enjoyed your kansi-floss as much as we did (all weekend!)…
